Noor Kibbeh is a food factory owned by Manhal Zaya, a Christian IDP currently residing in Duhok governorate. This enterprise produces different types of Kibbeh (an Iraqi and Syrian dish) as well as burgers and shawrma. Like many other businesses, Noor Kibeeh has also been affected by the global pandemic of COVID-19 which led to holding operation for about two months in the first half of 2020. By earning an amount of 12,000 USD zero-interest loan, a package of tailor-made trainings based on businesses needs and enrollment in a social cohesion, Noor Kibbeh is now operational with more than 20 local markets and restaurants as regular customers and have repaid their first monthly installment in March 2021.
