Islam – Agribusiness
A family business owned by Islam Khalid Soro for poultry and farming carried out in a large farm of approximately 65 Acres located in Zakho district. For the poultry part of the business, two large halls have been prepared for raising chickens (layers) for egg production only. As for the agricultural side, the business owner has focused on growing three types of fruits only (Fig, Grape and Pomegranate). The enterprise has received a loan of $9,000 zero interest, marketing TVET, different sessions on Social Cohesion.

Plans for 2021:
Islam for agribusiness plans to develop and expand the business, as well as developing a new business plan to support the marketing and sales of the enterprise which REVIVE project offers in its TVET and sessions. The business owner also plans to create more job opportunities for youth of different groups/religious backgrounds.
